For more than 60 years the city of Spokane has had a love affair with the game of hockey. The Spokane Chiefs are just one of many franchises that have captured the Spokane community through the years. Very few sports have a history as rich as hockey in Spokane. The Chiefs look to continue the winning tradition which includes: two Memorial Cup Championships in 1991 & 2008, two WHL Championships in 1991 & 2008, and four Western Conference Championships in 1991, 1996, 2000 & 2008. Over 60 alumni have gone on to play in the National Hockey League.

MARCH 11: St. PATRICK'S DAY PARADE

Grab the fam for the St. Patty's Parade! The show starts 12PM, make sure to get there early to save your spot, and be sure to bring a blanket!

*The 42nd Annual St. Patrick’s Day parade is scheduled for Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 12pm! The parade has been allowed to continue this year and we look forward to seeing everyone on parade day.

The Friendly Sons of St. Patrick is a charitable, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (#27-1551302) that was started in 1978 by a small, but dedicated group of people. Our primary goal is to organize the local St. Patrick's Day Parade and ceremonies in Spokane honoring those of Irish ancestry and to provide donations to area non-profit organizations to help support the community.*

MARCH 13: THE MAN WHO SURVIVED 12 CONCENTRATION CAMPS

This one-night-only educational event will be at the Convention Center

Survival and Triumph - Joseph Alexander

Listen to a fascinating story of horror and courage.

Joe Alexander is a 100-year-old holocaust survivor who lived through 12 concentration camps and an infamous death march. Be inspired by his courage and story of survival against all odds. With very few survivors left, there aren’t many opportunities left to hear a first-hand account of their story. It’s now or never.

Tickets are available through Tickets West, starting at $15,00 for students, $20 for seniors, and $25 for General Admission, No one who would like to attend is turned down due to lack of funds. MARCH 16: BIG HORN OUTDOOR ADVENTURE SHOW

With 130,000 sq ft. of exhibition space, the show boasts a wide array of outdoor-oriented vendors, guides, and non-profit exhibitors. With over 300 exhibitors you will enjoy seminars, demonstrations, and the most current information for outdoor enthusiasts of every kind.

There is something for everyone at the Big Horn Outdoor Adventure Show. In Spokane, the Big Horn Outdoor Adventure Show is Eastern Washington’s premier event, designed, created, and built by the Inland Northwest Wildlife Council volunteers. All profits go back into the Inland Northwest Wildlife Council to fund habitat and conservation projects.

MARCH 10: Taste of Winter Dinner Cruises

Missed the Spokane St. Patty's Day Parade? No worries CDA's St. Patty's Day Parade is on the 18th!

The Coeur d’Alene Downtown Association is pleased to present the 18th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 18th

Watch as the parade entries stroll down Sherman Avenue and bring the Luck of the Irish to Downtown CDA with dancing, music, and festive floats!
