One of our favorite times of the year is restaurant week! We are a team of foodies ;) This allows us to check out and try places we haven't been to or may be new to the area.

We've compiled this list of some of our favorites and places we are definitely going to try.

What is Restaurant Week?

Before we dive into our favorites, we should tell you about Restaurant Week and why it exists!

Restaurant Week began in 2013, as a joint venture between Visit Spokane - A Non-profit that shares all of the things Spokane has to offer, and The Inlander - officially The Pacific Northwest Inlander, Spokane's free weekly newspaper that covers local news and culture. They help showcase our region’s growing culinary scene and attractions.

Restaurant week typically happens during the last week of February and continues through the first week of March. Each restaurant has a 3-course menu priced at either $25, $35, or $45 (fixed pricing so you know what you're paying). Reservations aren't necessary but are recommended for some locations.

How Many Restaurants?

100 restaurants will be participating this year!

Inlander has a fantastic list that you can filter by area, cuisine, and price range, we'll link it at the end :)

Our Favorites

Each of our team members live in a different area of Spokane so we 'narrowed' down our picks to 5 places you should definitely stop by! Our top votes were Durkin's, 1898, Vieux Carré, Max at Mirabeau, and last but not least Kuni's Thai Kitchen! Durkin's is an elegant New American bar with a speakeasy-style nook downstairs serving creative cocktails. It's perfect for a date night, we recommend making a reservation as Durkin's is very POPULAR. Their 3-course meal will run you $45 a person (you have options for each course). Try their drinks "Calm before the Breeze" or "Honey Bee".

1898 Public House - Country club meets an ever-evolving modern flair. 1898 is located in the Kalispel Golf Course and is similar to Durkin's as in you should make a reservation. Their 3 course meals will run you $45. They have a wicked Old Fashion.

Vieux Carré brings the New Orleans experience to Spokane, WA with authentic Cajun food. For Restaurant Week Vieux Carré's 3 course is running $35 a person, they have adventurous options like frog legs, blue crab cakes, and rabbit dumplings.

MAX at Mirabeau is one of our favorite Valley locations, the most eclectic culinary experience in the Spokane Valley. The MAX is perfect for groups or couples and they have options for everyone. Their 3 course is $45.

You can't go wrong with Kuni's Thai House, an authentic Thai cuisine in a modern, family-run restaurant. for Restaurant Week they aren't offering what you would typically expect but all of their options sound immaculate! $35 a person.
